Thyroid Panel
Autoimmune, Diabetes, & Heart Disease
Your health can suffer as a result of an overactive or underactive thyroid. A healthy thyroid ensures that your metabolic rate, energy levels, brain development, and digestion all work properly. If you’ve been experiencing mental fog, joint pain, low energy, fluid retention, or unexplained weight changes, you should check to see if your thyroid levels are within the normal range for you.

Biomarkers
fT3: Triiodothyronine (T3) is a hormone produced by the thyroid gland and is the active form of the thyroid hormone, thyroxine. The fT3 biomarker is a measure of bioavailable or free-standing T3.
fT4: Thyroxine (T4) is a hormone produced by the thyroid gland. The fT4 biomarker is a measure of bioavailable or free-standing T4.
TPO: Thyroid peroxidase (TPO) is an enzyme that supports the production of thyroid hormones.
T3 Total: Triiodothyronine (T3) is a hormone produced by the thyroid gland. The T3 Total biomarker is a measure of the total amount of T3.
T4 Total: Thyroxine (T4) is a hormone produced by the thyroid gland. The T4 Total biomarker is a measure of the total amount of T4.
rT3: Produced by the thyroid gland, rT3 (Reverse Triiodothyronine) is a variation of the hormone T3. An imbalance of this hormone is an indication of problems with the thyroid; which can cause sleep disorders such as insomnia and sleep apnea.
TgAB: Elevated levels of Thyroglobulin Antibody (TgAB) are indicative of problems with the thyroid.
